Book Review: A Project Guide To UX Design
I finished a pretty solid UX book the other day called A Project Guide to UX Design by Russ Unger and Carolyn Chandler. Overall, I think they do a good job of explaining the ins and outs of UX and they are thorough but not boring. Throughout the book there are various resource call outs where you can dive deeper into the concepts being explained. These are a good aid in helping the reader fully understand the ideas being presented.
The book is well organized and the chapters aren’t so long that you can’t get through each chapter at a decent rate. I think sometimes books try too hard to get too deep too quickly, but this book does a great job of easing you into a concept and guiding you through it. In addition the writers have a personal way of writing that is very conversational. So all in all, I would say I was glad I read it.
